Though it's sure to be lost in today's WWDC hubbub, a newly available jailbreak application called uSirius allows users to listen to Sirius Satellite Radio on the iPhone or iPod Touch. The application plays the live streaming audio directly from sirius.com.

The app is currently in beta, and the developer notes:

"It has several bugs and may even cause your iPhone/iPod Touch to reboot. It is just to show that Sirius Satellite Radio is possible on the iPhone. Initial loading of Channel Lineup and Channel Logos take a long time. Please be patient"

In order to use this application, follow our guide for jailbreaking the iPhone then add the following source to Installer.app:

To add a source to Installer, tap "Sources," button, then tap "Edit" in the upper-right corner, and finally "Add" in the upper-left corner. Enter the URL of the source you would like to add and press "OK." Installer.app will add the source, and you will be able to find the new application(s) in the normal "Install" menu.
