Blu-ray.com reports that the Blu-ray release of the movie "Iron Man" in France will give iPhone and iPod Touch users some extra surprises.

According to the report this release of the movie will use NetBlender's BD Touch Technology, allowing the movie to interact with Apple's touch devices. The App is called "Remote Haxey" and according to the site it, "will allow users to download trailers, play a game that's integrated into the movie, and use your iPhone as a remote control" plus other features.

This movie release is the first to use the BD Touch technology. It remains to be seen if other vendors will adopt this technology or not, but some of the features offered by this technology will not be available in the US. This is unfortunate since adjusting the location of subtitles or even making your own version of the film would be very appealing to many consumers.

The "Iron Man" movie on Blu-ray will released in November in France.
