More clues are being discovered in hardware and software leading to speculation that the iPad can support a front-facing iSight camera.
According to PowerbookMedic's blog, the site received photos of what are supposed to be the final revision iPad midframe. The pictures appear similar to the ones that MissionRepair released about a month ago.

(Credit: Apple, Inc.)PowerbookMedic's photos show that the frame has Webcam "holes," but the holes are now slightly different in style and don't match the ones currently used by iSight models such as the ones in a Unibody Macbook--odd, since manufacturing companies often use the same parts across product lines to save money.
The supposed new frame also has a large, rectangular cutout that PowerbookMedic guesses is for a speaker located near what is clearly a hole for the iPad's Home button.
We've already seen proof that there was software support for a camera on the iPad, but Apple has removed that support from the latest SDK release.
