New video landed online this week that shows us our first real-world look at the unannounced HTC Ville.

Expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in late February, the Ville should be HTC's thinnest smartphone to date.

The Ville first broke cover in early November when we learned that it would feature some rather high-end hardware. Rumored specs include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an updated version of HTC's Sense UI, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, and an 8-megapixel camera.

Capable of recording 1080p HD video, the camera will feature a backside-illuminated sensor, giving it a leg up on the competition. Rounding things out are a 1,650mAh battery, HSPA+ connectivity, and that superthin, sub-8mm chassis.

Unfortunately we're not able to embed the original video as it has since been made private. Screen shots posted on Electronista, however, confirm that the handset packs 1GB RAM and support for Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and a front-facing VGA camera. We also get to see how thin the handset is when held in hand, and boy is it slim.

The HTC Ville is rumored to come to the United States as part of T-Mobile's spring lineup and will likely get its own announcement. Some readers may recall HTC announcing the international version of the Sensation last year only to have T-Mobile debut a branded version of its own.
