preGAME 17: E3 2010 preview
This week on preGAME, we gear up for gaming's biggest show of the year, E3. On today's episode we'll run down every last prediction and anticipated game we're looking forward to at E3 2010, from each of the three major press conferences to the individual titles themselves.
First up for debate is Microsoft. It sounds like we'll finally get an official name for Project Natal, as well as some game announcements made for the motion-capturing hardware. We also think we'll see an Xbox 360 Slim announced at the company's press conference; maybe there's a Natal/Slim bundle in the near future?
Next, it's Sony's turn. Will E3 2010 bring us an announcement of a premium fee-based PlayStation Network service? Also, we're pretty sure we'll learn more about the company's 3D ambitions, so we're hoping to get word of an official date for the inevitable 3D PS3 firmware update. Plus, PlayStation Move needs a release and price too.
We're curious what Mario and company has in store for us at the big show. Spearheading the Nintendo press conference will most likely be the 3DS, the company's new 3D handheld console. We're also expecting to hear more about the American Heart Association and think more health-oriented Wii games are in our very near future. Last but not least, will E3 2010 bring us a new Zelda game?
Finally, we've got the games. While our list is definitely incomplete, check out the titles we're most hoping to learn more about at E3 2010. Some of our highly awaited games include Gears of War 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Bulletstorm, Portal 2, Dead Space 2, Fallout: New Vegas, and many more. All this plus much more speculation and wishlist fun on this week's preGAME!
