Not to sound like a broken record, but the stock plastic earbuds that came packaged with your shiny new MP3 player aren't doing you any favors. After loading up your device with music, the next thing to do is replace the headphones. Of course, if you're not absurdly picky about audio quality, we can understand not wanting to spend $100 or more on a new pair. That's where options such as the Creative EP-630 come in. These sound-isolating earphones offer a comfortable fit and improved audio for just $39.99.

Read the full review of the Creative EP-630.

For more than five years, Jasmine France has covered a variety of tech products for CNET--from scanners to keyboards to GPS devices--but she's happiest where she is now: sitting atop a pile of MP3 players, "testing" every music service known to man, and jamming a variety of earbuds in every shape and color into her absurdly small ears. EP-630 has been here since 2006 I think.<br />Why the Re-review?

probably because of the new colors which doesn't really justify a re-review.....added to that cnet is the first source I've read a review from anywhere ( try head-fi.org from individual owners ) that say the bass is weak. I own a pair and I've never heard a mention of weak bass anywhere, only bloated bass in every aspect. Surely, you couldn't have had a good seal while listening. They provide isolation and they're a good upgrade from most stock phones, but the bass is sloppy, the high's are recessed and Creative have now replaced them with the EP-830's
