American designed and made autos are10 years behind there Europoean and Japan autos, and for this they should hang their heads in shame. With the best minds and technology in the world and they can't build a competitive auto. They deserve to die and out of the ashes might give rise to a great auto!

To be Car of the year, the car has to be good looking too. GTR is just not that good looking.

For the car of the year most of you never gave the trucks a chance.. or maybe we should reclassify the vehicles to make the trucks qualify for nomination.. i believe that Dodge has come a long way, and have equipped the Ram, with features that both mean entertainment/luxury and power! what more do u need in ur automobile.. so i ask, lets give the Dodge ram a second look, take the spotlight away from the Z, EX, M3's, we already know this cars... its all name brand.. look at the hard work put into the truck as an underdog! my vote goes to the 'BEAST' ... DODOGE RAM.

By "tech car" you obviously mean cabin gadgets. How about technology for fuel-efficiency, less emissions, and smaller carbon footprints. Until consumers get it, the auto manufacturers won't get it. Get it?

The GT is an overratted Datsun with 80's fender flares.

You really shouldn't try so hard at being so obliviously clueless, since we all get it already.
