I have to say...I bought my wife a kindle when they came out. Then Kindle Fire HD comes out..Had to upgrade for my wife she won't put it down. That did it, this deal was perfect timing can't wait to pick it up. Oh buy the way sorry for all those people out there that had trouble ordering. Mine went thru frist time

It was only a 3 hour Sale Not on 21st but yesterday morn. The 26th Last Week I ordered from Best Buy clearance & they had the same issue & was 99.99 but took my order but than refunded me $$ cause item was solded out & only had in 1 store in 5 states only in Brooklyn N.Y. HAD on site during presidents day weekend!!! What a bummer!! Best Buy didn't even sended me a email

OMG-I COULD SERIOUSLY KICK MYSELF!!! I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE WHILE I HAD THE CHANCE,BUT I DIDN'T AND MISSED OUT!!! I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE KINDLE FIRES BEING REFURBISHED,AND THEN IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE $...NOW I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT EITHER ANYMORE :( :(

I order the Kindle Fire Deal yesterday about 15 minutes after receiving the email deal. The transaction went through and gave a finalized screen with a confirmation number.

I still have not received a confirmation email and it has been over 24 hours. I called Best Buy like the CNet site mention, but they didn't know anything about this deal.

I emailed CNet and still have not heard back.

Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

Just picked up my kindle this morning at best buy. My daughter is teaching me how to use it since it didn't come with a handbook. The only complaint I had, although too late was that it wouldn't let me purchase more than one item.

Anybody want mine? When I plug in the charger that came with it, nothing happens. Had it plugged in overnight and battery still has 19% life in it.

Just went to Amazon's customer service page, where this is a known issue with the first generation of Kindle Fire. Should have done my research.

Picked up my Kindle today. Seems to be in perfect condition. It came with a charger however it take about 11 hours to charge, however the Kindle power charger is great. The cost is $19.99 however Best Buy has a coupon for 10.00 off. It charged my Kindle Fire in less than an hour.

FOR THOSE THAT WERE NOT ABLE TO GET THIS KINDLE CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY. MY MAIN REASON I WANTED THIS KINDLE WAS FOR THE TEXT TO SPEECH FEATURE. ACCORDING TO THE CUSTOMER NO SERVICE NO SPEAK ENGLISH AT AMAZON. THEY CLAIMS THIS KINDLE DOES NOT COME WITH TEXT TO SPEECH. HOWEVER ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE IT DOES. AMAZON SO CALLED CUSTOMER SEVICE STATES THAT THEY DON'T EVEN SELL THE MODEL ANY MORE.
