@MrRazak: In a perfect world, M$ would add a BD drive to the 360, but that will not happen because of one major factor-COST. I don't know exactly how much exactly it would add to the cost (unsure of bulk pricing per drive plus added costs to integrate to current system etc), but realistically, they can't add it and keep the cost of the console the same, which then takes away from the price battle taking place between both consoles. For the record I have both and totally agree that currently the PS3 is a better value with the built in BD player, but it's pretty obvious that we're slowly transitioning to a future where "on demand" content will be the norm. M$ is simply trying to leverage that reality against not having a costly BD drive in their system.
