"Exelent small machine !"
Pros: Small, fast, strong, afordable, good looking.
Cons: Weight. (It's 0.7 Lbs havier than Dell D420) but better.
Summary: This is my first time that I am doing something like this. Reason is that I got mad at the Editor with his review of this machine.
How come ? Here is why :
1. Wrong specification. Here they stated that max RAM memory is 2 Gig. and it is 4 Gig.
They missed by 50 %.
2. Editor is not happy with the mouse of this laptop. ?????? How many laptops do you know that they come with mouse ? Yeah, I would say that is one MAJOR con - bad mouse. It is so hard going to store and buying a good mouse, like you would do with 99% of other laptops.
3. Battery life. Look like this Editor doesn't know that Acer (and every other laptop) has Power save option. With that option turned on, I am getting 5 hours. Nothing to brag about, for this size of a laptop, but not bad either.
Finally, this Editor (because of "bad mouse" and "short" battery life") gives to this beautiful machine rating of 6.1 ???
Now, I am supposed to trust your review ?
Not only that Editor cut down the capacity of maximum RAM memory by half, but he was not happy with the mouse that came with the laptop. I don't think this was far, to this beautiful machine.
This is one well designed laptop. Very fast and very strong. I would recommend this to anyone. Today (July, 07) this machine could be found for under $ 1,300, and for what you get, this is a great price. Spend another $250 on 4 Gig of RAM, and there you are with one of the most powerful laptops on the market.
