"great laptop"
Pros: nice screen and cool features for the price
Cons: a little heavy
Summary: I bought this laptop a few weeks ago.
It has great features for the price. The TFT screen is bright and big. The keyboard take a little time to get used to. The only thing which I did not like is the packaged software. There is absolutely nothing on the laptop. No antivirus, no office suite, nothing. So you need to get sofware installed on the machine. Another this I liked was that the hard drive was already partitioned. This helped me to install my software on drive d: and not c: which has all the system files. This really helps, as I know of a friend of mine you bought a new laptop which was shipped without a partitioned hard drive. He had then to run around to get software to get the partition done.
This laptop is sure worth a buy.

My computer geek is really high on the Acer TravelMate4654. Although he doesn't recommend it he says that you can drop it and it still keeps running. He loves the features and speed and is really jazzed by the battery life. I'm waiting for delivery any day now.
