"THE WORST COMPUTER AND SERVICE"
Pros: 19 inch screen
Cons: everything, always breaking down, don't even think of using it as a gaming computer
Summary: My boyfriend gave this to me as a Christmas present, cost $6000 and i had to return it the first month to get it fixed. I have had to return it 3 times within the year and called more than 40 times because of other problems with it. It is not a reliable system. I called to get an extension on the warranty and told that the computer is a dead product. It is a year old, how does that happen? Last night, my computer broke down again and guess what alienware could not help me...they just took my money and ran. you support whatsoever. if you are interested in buying a computer, don't buy this product or from alienware. you are wasting your time and money.

Hi, I've also had problems, but never been told the computer is a dead product. It was sent away 3 months ago and got repaired. Its broken down now again though, so I know exactly what you went through.
Do you remember what the problem was? Mine is Graphics card AND motherboard faliure, with the laptop making a BIOS beep code whenever I try to boot it. Is this similar to yours? I'm trying to find out if this is a common problem, or just unique to me. Its the third time its happened.
