Buffalo's LinkTheater Mini is attempting to set itself apart from the rest of the PC-to-TV media conduits by being among the first to fall in line with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) guidelines. The result should please the format-finicky, as the LinkTheater Mini promises a wide compatibility list; MPEG-2, JPEG, MP3, BMP, PNG, LPCM WMV, AVI, GIF, and WMA. Buffalo promises clean and consistent media playback with the use of its PC media server software. We'll be sure to grab this Buffalo by the horns and take it for a ride when it's released this month for $100.
