"Great Basic Business MP3 Player"
Pros: Easy To Use, Great Battery Life, Solid And Quality Built
Cons: Screen Could Be Brighter
Summary: This is a great, classy looking, business-men's MP3 player. It does what MP3 players are supposed to do...play MP3's!!!!
The roller barrel control is easier to use than the Ipod in my opinion and the controls are extremely intuitive and easy to use.
The interface is very much like the Creative Zen Micro (did Creative build this product for Dell?) and as I said before, it does what it is supposed to do...play MP3's.
Many other MP3 players have all kinds of other features like a calendar, voice recorder, etc., but I wanted an MP3 player, not an all-in-one Convergence Device. Thumbs up to Dell for building a solid, intuitive, quality MP3 player.

Not only is your comment that this a great "business-mens" player sexist, but aren't most "business-men" fat, balding, and boring? This is mostly what I see when I fly during the week. In that case, this boring MP3 player is perfect for the dull stuffed suit type. Wouldn't want something good looking and flashy like an iPod wrapped around you. By the way, since Dell rightfully discontinued this lemon, you might have a fun time trying to get support. As the Dell Dude would say:" Dude, you better get rid of this Dell!"

I agree totally with the other comments. This is very easy to use and does what it is supposed to do. Looks great as well. I also do not like the iPod touch controls as I found the "roller" and buttons much easier to use.
I have travelled (by plane) over 30,000 miles during the last year and this player has worked flawlessly all the time. Battery life is excellent!
Who needs all of the other gimmicks when you want to play music!
