"Unmatched performance for this price in this category. Period."
Pros: Large, clear LCD. Clear, bright color. Good white balance. Long battery life. Fast, FAST processor.
Cons: Slight purple fringing in bright light.
Summary: Everybody agrees this camera has unmatched low light performance. But the focus on that ignores the rest of the wonderful features. Large, easy to see LCD. Above average battery life (300 shots vs. avg. 150-200 shots). Great lens. Realistic colors. Complete white balance control. Unmatched flash performance. The list goes on. For the price there isn't a better camera out there. Also looked at the F30 but couldn't justify paying $100+ more for 200 more shots per charge, shutter/aperture priority and 100K more pixels in the LCD. I can live without that a lot easier than I can live without a C-note. Also considered among others the Sony W30/50 and the Cannon SD600. Sony lacked low light capability and Cannon lacked battery life. Both important to me
