    "Slick, but not very durable"

    by senor_cranky on November 20, 2006

Pros: Small thin and light design

Cons: May not be durable, if experience with 7000 series any guide

Summary: The Fujitsu S7000 series has a great thin and light form factor and pack a lot of in a small package.

However, my S7010 failed after eighteen months, sent it in for motherboard replacement and it failed again after 3 months (just after repair warranty period).

Maybe I was really unlucky, or maybe there's a durability tradeoff in making the 7000 series so small, thin and light.

It would be helpful if reviews were based on actual usage and not experiences with a previous model.
