    "Mediocre, Poor Overall Performance"

    Pros: Many Great Features

    Cons: Poor durability, subpar customer service, High Priced

    Summary: My first M255-E I had for only a week and it had to be sent back for critical hardware malfunctions. The second M255-E which I currently own has been plagued by continous hardware problems. Over the course of 9 Months the computer has had the following replacements (in order)

    Fan
    Battery
    CD Drive
    Screen
    CD Drive (Again)
    Key Board
    Power Cord

    Unfortunately the computer is still running poorly. Even with an extensive warranty that provides on-site and free part relacement and installment, Gateway refuses to replace this computer.

    Personally with all of this troubled experience I am reluctant to purchase another Gateway product
