"Absolutely love it!"
Pros: Impressively fast
Cons: Hard to find a bag to carry it
Summary: First off I am not good with tech terms and really can only provide a basic review from a non-techie point of view. The IT guys at work were really impressed and I had a hard time getting it back from them after they installed my VPN access though.
I drove myself nuts looking for a new computer and looked at way too many computers before finally making a decision on this HP. I upgraded from an Acer that had lots of problems after only about 4 months of daily use.
This machine is REALLY fast! I cannot believe how fast actually. I am not a gamer but everything I have ran so far is ready to go literally in the blink of an eye.
The 17" wide screen is gorgeous! No glare and the colors and clarity are perfect IMHO.
I also really like the Bluetooth and not having to have anything attached for my mouse. My phone synched effortlessly too.
Cons would include the keyboard. While I love the size and the 10 key pad on the side, I do not like the stiffness of the keys. They are loud and feel harsh. Also trying to find something besides a plain old nylon type bag is just about impossible.
It is heavy at 7.5 lbs but to me worth the weight to haul it around when necessary. My clients love being able to see an Excel spreadsheet with lots of columns all on one screen.
