    "DV2000 review"

    Pros: Fast, feature filled, good battery life, great LCD screen

    Cons: Bad LCD hinge, sticky metal chassis

    I got the S-video working. Can't believe I'd missed how to do it before.

    I can't seem to get my S-video output to work. Does yours? I will try to find a different cord and test it again, but I get no signal out of it, and can't find any option in the HP controls, or the Intel controls, to make it turn on. The VGA out works fine. There are menus to turn that on, but not the S-video.

    Thanks so much for your comprehensive review at your blog site. It has helped me almost make up my mind to get a dv2000t. I'm concerned, though, about its glossy screen. As I spend long hours (all day) in front of my laptop, I was wondering whether you could comment on whether you think the dv2000t screen is more tiring to the eyes than non-glossy type screens.
