"AWSOME Bang for your buck"
Pros: great screan, great picture, great ports, good for gaming, and very user friendly
Cons: average battery life, nothing else to complain about
Summary: Im accually tying this review on the dv4000 right now, and it is working great. I am a avid gamer and i was sorta disappointed to hear about the shared memory, but all my games play great on this laptop. I am also going to school and will be using a wireless network, and the second i turn on my laptop it connects to the internet. I really like the optional DVD remote to, it allows me to watch movie from a distance. All and all i really find this laptop to suite Students, basic gamers, and the averaige traveling office worker.

Hey, i read your post. You mentioned you were a gamer, and were disappointed about the shared memoey. I would be too, but I was interested in what games you're able to play well on the laptop dv4000. And is graphics card you chose shared or dedicated, what graphics card was it?. Are the games able to run well on the laptop? Thanks

Hey, i am shopping and narrowed it between this and the inspiron 9300... i know the option of the 256 on the inspiron would make it more ideal for gaming, but im not that avid to spend that much MORE for the 9300, but i was wondering WHICH games you play on the 128 ati card?
