"Best Laptop I've Ever Owned!"
Pros: Keyboard exceeds Dell, Fast! Did I mentioned it was FAST!, Graphics better than the experts led me to believe! Quiet! Best Value in the Industry!
Cons: Left hand gets warm when using keyboard.
Summary: I've owned 2 Dell Laptops (Inspiron 2650 and Latitude D600) and the HP Pavilion DV5000 with the AMD 64 ML40 is leaps and bounds above those. I do lots of typing and the keyboard is the best I've had - laptop or regular keyboard - the best!
Display is top notch, battery life is over 5 hours and the 80 GB 5200 RPM HD is quiet and seems faster than my Dell D600's 5200 disk.
HP's done their homework on the DV5000 and ordering from their site is without equal in the industry. Great price, great support, great add-ons and did I mention - great value and their 1 year warranty is better than Dells and other warranty options are priced just right!
