"Faulty components / no customer support" By arturod58

Pros: Nice look and feel, good CPU.

Cons: (1) Keyboard keys kind of flimsy, some keys break.
(2) HP Pavilion with NVIDIA chipset - Video portion fails prematurely.

Summary: Warning! There are major problems with the complete line of HP Pavilion with NVIDIA chipset's.
HP knows about the problem (check out the forum on HP?s web site) but they continue to sell these pieces of junk without providing support.

"Pretty good for the price." By Tabnkim

Pros: Nice screen, decent graphics. Functionally it was nice until the motherboard faded out.

Cons: Had to upgrade memory from 512mb to 2gb. After two years my motherboard pretty much died. Fell just out of warranty so HP was gracious enough to offer $280 to fix it. That's a little over half what it would cost for a brand new better laptop.

Summary: I guess you get what you pay for. To me it's not really worth fixing since you can get a way better, brand new laptop for a little more money. I just wish HP had a little better support.
