"Nice at first, didn't last long."
Pros: Large screen, lots of hard drive space, lots of RAM for a laptop
Cons: Keyboard problems, overheating
Summary: I really loved this computer when I first got it -- in addition to the things I mentioned in "pros", it also ran memory-intensive programs really well and was able to run quite a few programs at once without noticeable slow-down. I was very careful with it and I like to think I treated it fairly well (it was pretty expensive, at least for me at the time, and I didn't want to mess it up), but after only a year, it started freezing up when asked to run multiple or more complex programs, overheating and crashing regularly, and having weird keyboard problems (behaving as if the Shift key was stuck down even when it wasn't, for one). I know computers (and electronics in general) don't tend to last as long as some other things, but if I'm going to spend upwards of $1000, I'd like my computer to function for more than a year, thanks.
