"Purchased this mahcine yesterday..."
Pros: Slick looking, has a lot of memory, decent controls, multimedia features
Cons: Big for a laptop,
Summary: I bought this machine yesterday from best buy. There is a standing 150$ rebate so it cost 850$. More than I wanted to pay but they were out of the 15" version so I broke down and got it. First day it froze up, not unusual for HP or Compaq as I have owned both tower version and had same issue. I currently own 2 toshiba satellite laptops and haven't had any issues with them. I have also used IBM thinkpad and Dell. I have had the least number of issues with IBM and Toshiba. Dell is the worst. So far (day 2) with the HP I haven't had issues. They preload a lot of junk on these so it takes time to remove programs and get them to act the way you want. I'm impressed with the quality and design. I almost got a gateway for really cheap but decided that was too risky. The sales person said they had a lot of issues with them.

I was wondering if you used the tl60 processor which is the highest of the AMD Turions 64x2 if it would be just as good as the core 2 duos. Just wondering if anybody has experienced the tl60s with the 9000v models. thanks
