"After extensive research..."
Pros: Excellent picture quality. Simple to use.
Cons: Did not come with dock.
Summary: There were so many digital cameras to choose from I didn't know where to turn. I took a chance and based my purchase on 3 excellent user reviews on cnet. I'm glad I did. My purchase price was $249.99 at Bestbuy not including the memory card. The camera is good looking, simple to use, takes great pictures and was a good value. I didn't like the cameras with lenses which extended out, I felt like this took time from the shot. The R727 has a quick shutter which opens with power up. I also have large hands and can work this camera with little trouble. Hopefully this can save someone some research time and when cnet does their review they will concur.
