The initial installation turned out to be a bit annoying. The InvisibleShield is basically just two pieces: one for the back of the iPod and one for the front. More detailed instructions can be found on the product Web site, but in short, the process required very careful application to the front and rear and actually took several tries in order to obtain the perfect fit. On top of that, we constantly had to start the procedure over because we kept getting air bubbles underneath the screen. Trust us, obsessive users can easily spend more than an hour trying to get the placement just right. However, all your hard work will definitely pay off in the end; the InvisibleShield dutifully protects your iPod without forfeiting screen visibility or resolution. We rigorously tested the InvisibleShield's durability under pressure with keys, coins, pens, and other sharp objects, and the Shield took the beating with a smile. After a few days of field testing, we've yet to see any new marks on our iPod. In fact, the Shield actually concealed some scratches that were already on our iPod. If you're looking for a subtle way to protect your investment from unsightly scratches, the InvisibleShield is definitely worth a look. If you're still skeptical, check out this video.
