"TV Broke after one year, customer service is incredibly poor"
Pros: big picture was easy to see when it worked
Cons: tv gets very hot, broke after 1 year and they have had my tv for well over a month
Summary: I think the tv was ok while it worked, but once it broke I was initially impressed that they came and picked up the television in a quick manner, but that was 9-21-07 and it is now 10-31-07 so I am extremely disappointed with their customer service.
The service center said that they replaced 3 parts and the 4th was on backorder and now I am struggling to get a replacement since it has been so long.
So I would have to say that this model has serious reliability issues, and with the part being on backorder I would have to guess that it is not an isolated incident. Strongly urge the world not to purchase this particular model, and would say their customer service is not much better. Sorry LG, you let me down big time.Updated
I dont remember when I originally posted this message but it has been at least 2 weeks and I am STILL waiting for a replacement tv, which I have now been without for over 7 weeks. LG customer service is disgusting to me.
The dealer I bought it from stepped in and tried to help but they arent getting any better results, so I wish to say to everyone to make sure they know the return policy of the store if they are going to buy an LG product. You wont catch me making that mistake ever again.
