"What a bargain!"
Pros: Beautiful text, accurate colors.
Cons: Lack of DVI cable.
Summary: Picked monitor up at Circuit City for a great price ($324). Was worried when I first set it up because it would only say "Digital Power Save" and wouldn't come on. Then I tried hooking it up to my pc while the pc was off and then turning the pc on...lift-off. Duh! The LG has a nice array of adjustments, but they do take a little getting used to since they're on the back. I was disappointed that a DVI cable wasn't included as it is with some other monitors, but at that price, a minimal complaint.
Overall, the text is terrific. The picture, after some adjusting (brightness down to 50%, color gamut -50 and contrast at 75%) is superb. Colors very natural. Supposed to be a reasonably good monitor for gaming and dvds, but I haven't tried yet. Some have complained about the flimsiness of the stand, but I find it to be fine, only missing a height adjustment, IMO. I used "Dead Pixel Buddy"...no dead pixels so far, fingers crossed.
Overall, I'm very pleased.
