Product description from manufacturer

The Nokia 6360 (TDMA 800/1900mHz/AMPS) wireless phone is the sequel to Nokia's popular Nokia 6160 that has defined the business-class wireless market since its introduction. Along with compatibility with most existing Nokia Original Accessories used with the Nokia 6160, the Nokia 6360 retains the familiar dual soft key user interface of its predecessor, making it an easy transition for existing Nokia 6160 users upgrading to the new model. Familiar features such as a built-in calendar phonebook and calculator, are included in the Nokia 6360, but enhanced functionality including a wireless Internet browser, voice dialing and e-mail support are also part of the Nokia 6360 feature set. Recognizing the needs of modern professionals, the 4.2 ounce Nokia 6360 integrates a number of connectivity functions including a WAP 1.2.1 browser, allowing for 'push' services where supported by the network service, built-in infrared (IrDA) port for data exchange with PDAs and PCs, and support for phonebook, calendar and to-do list synchronization using Nokia PC suite software. New advanced voice features help to increase the user-friendliness of the Nokia 6360. Along with voice dialing with support for up to 20 pre-programmed phone numbers, the Nokia 6360 accepts voice commands to control user-defined menu items via the spoken word, and up to 3 minutes of digital voice memo recording. Beyond voice, a variety of text communication methods, including e-mail support, text and picture messaging, and mobile chat, are part of the Nokia 6360's feature set. To make the text content even more accessible, the Nokia 6360's screen is over 40% larger than that of the Nokia 6160. Accommodating the diversity of wireless phone users, the Nokia 6360 is Nokia's first digital phone to support wireless TTY/TDD (Teletype Device for Deaf) compatibility. By accessing the 'TTY' setting in the Nokia 6360 phone, users can connect certain models of portable TTY terminals to the handset using an adapter accessory to communicate with other TTY users. The Nokia 6360 also supports the Nokia Loopset accessory, which provides clear, hands free connectivity for many hearing-aid wearers.
