Wonderful receiver at a value price!
Pros: Jam-packed with features, this little Onkyo simply sounds great. Buy for a mid-sized room!
Cons: None. It is worth every penny and more.
Review: I paired it with Paradigm Cinema CT 110 Speakers which are also an amazing value considering the low price.

Excellent Receiver
Pros: Sounds great, setup can be done from front of receiver
Cons: runs a little hot
Review: I got this receiver mainly because I was on a budget, but wanted a nice upgrade from my 7 year old receiver. This Onkyo really does sound great. It is also easy to setup, I really dont get the comment on setup could be easier. Yeah, you could have a monkey packaged with the reciver that did everything for you, but then what would you do with the monkey?
The manual is fairly straight forward and the non-english versions come as a seperate manual so you can just trash that right out of the box, and you have a thin manual to keep, not a novel.
Anyway, I had it up and running in less than 45 minutes and was very impressed. It DOES run hot, after 30 minutes of playing it was already very warm to touch.
Remote is confusing, but they all are these days. I LOVE the fact that you can do everything from the front of the reciver also, that way keeping up with the remote becomes less of a burden.
Bottom line, for less than 300.00 this is a steal.

Pros: Great sound! mating with Polk audio would be the best!

very very easy set up, great balanced tones. dont worry about those 75hz rating, it sounds like 120hz!
also, a lotta hookups in the back, use coaxial is the best!
