    "Great inexpensive projector"

by vfxguy on May 5, 2005

Pros: DVI input, Multiple input settings and presets for each input.

Cons: Manual focus. If using on a tabletop the throw can project a little high

Summary: This is a great low-cost entry projector. It has a native 16X9 aspect ratio. 5 different calibration modes for each input. DVI, component, composite, and s-video inputs.

The H31 compares to the Infocus screenplay 4805 in price and features but I think it performs better than the 4805.

480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i inputs so it works well for both standard NTSC signals and for scaled down high definition inputs.

This projector easily beats out projectors that cost $1000 more.
