"worked good for 4 months...."
Pros: small, held 300 songs, mp3 mostly
Cons: poor customer support...short warrenty 90 days.
Summary: I will definately check the warrenty when I purchase another mp3 player. I bought this for my teen daughter who loved it. At first it kept freezing up and would have to sit and reset. Finally it just froze and we went throught the steps of troubleshooting it and finally called tech support. I was told that the hard drive was shot. Since it was out of warrenty we would have to ship this one to them and they would send us another one for 75.00. With a 30 day warrenty and it would be refurbished. I was very dissapointed. I will check warrenty information much better next time.

when i run the firmware it says that it was unsucessful, what should i do?

I have had mine for over 2 years with constant usage, and the only thing that has done anything to it was an 8 foot drop that req'd a reset and now I washed it and it is drying. I'm not sure what happened to their drive, but I haven't been carrying mine around in a velvet case. And to compete against the "bad" column on here: You would not buy this if you wanted a radio. buy a radio. It is built hardy as heck, it does not need a case. It is not a recorder. buy a recorder. Great product. Ipods may be violently whipped at me and may their precious screens be scratched.
