Product summary
The Rivet Grab works well on the dashboard and hanging off your backpack, but the design of the e-clip won't cooperate with your belt. Don't worry, though; the Grab offers several other wearable options to fit your lifestyle.

Quick Take: Perfect for your car dashboard but only so-so for your belt, the Rivet Grab ($30)--a stiff plastic half-shell with a felt interior and four stubby "arms" that grip your iPod from the back--makes for a sturdy, if unorthodox, portable music companion. On the back of the Grab is an e-clip: a small metal assembly with a pair of snap-on appendages, including a belt hook and a fingertip-size metal plate with an adhesive backing for your dashboard. The Grab works nicely with a car--just snap it on the plate or squeeze to release--but it's a little awkward with a belt, since you can't slip the hook onto your belt loop without detaching it from the e-clip.
