"Dark scenes are unwatchable with DVI"
Pros: Good picture quality when viewing scenes with a lot of light.
Cons: Atrociously poor picture quality when viewing dark scenes. I tried pairing this Samsung DVD with a Samsung DLP 5063 TV, and "night time" or dark scenes are unwatchable. Large portions of the picture of devoid of any detail (are just black holes) when vie

Pros: Phenomenal Picture Quality, Excellent Black Levels, Cheap, Fast Detection of Disks
Cons: Remote seams to use a laser and as such you almost need a scope to line it up :)

"Great player for that price range"
Pros: Good picture quality and sound. Able to update firmware provided by Samsung and easy to set up
