The LN-S3251D LCD TV features unique support of certain Samsung portable digital audio players and Apple iPods allowing the user to navigate the player's content on-screen via the TV's remote. The Samsung LN-S3251D uses TFT-LCD panels from the state-of-the-art Samsung 7th Generation S-LCD plant. Utilizing Samsung's market-leading fabrication process advances this LCD panel also boasting 8ms response time among the fastest in the industry. To provide the cleanest most high quality finish especially in light of the supple curves of the cabinet a special coating process is used as opposed to the traditional Rapid Heat Cycle Molding process. The cabinet "fits like a glove" and will also be available in a striking white cabinet color exemplifying the beauty and unique minimalist aesthetic nature of the design. The white version will be model # LN-S3252D and a 40" version with all of the same features will be introduced as well model # LN-S4051D. Although this product has appeal for all as a mid-sized LCD TV with a stunning design and excellent picture quality it will find special favor with owners of digital portable audio player. By connecting the specified audio players to the TV via RS232 cables or by placing the player in a specially designed docking station the user can navigate the player's content on the TV screen via the TV's remote control. The selected music is piped through the TV's superb dual speaker system and enhanced with SRS TruSurround XT processing. The product has a "swivel" base stand - a frequently requested feature of consumers. The product also boasts a "hidden" bottom speaker - minimizing cabinet size without sacrificing sound quality utilizing the DACS (Dual Acoustic Chamber System).
