"The worst phone EVER."
Pros: Lightweight, good graphics
Cons: The worst phone ever made.
Summary: I bought this phone from Verizon when it was still relatively new- May 2004. I have had to replace it four times since (July 2004, December 2004, February 2005, August 2005). The first time was because I stepped on it- okay, not the phone's fault. Then in December, I couldn't make phone calls because "the wire burned out," (in the words of the Verizon tech guy) so I got it replaced and the exact same thing happened AGAIN so I got it replaced again in February. And I just had to get it replaced (August 2005) because the base of the antenna cracked and couldn't pick up a signal anymore- mind you, this happened to the phone with normal use. (My boyfriend, who also uses Verizon, would have full bars and I would be on "extended network.") Believe me, I wasn't careless after having to replace it a bunch of times. So I called Verizon and told them I needed a new phone (by the way, "being a crappily made phone" is not considered a "manufacturer defect") and I refused to be sent another one so they've sent me the Kyocera KXV1, which I'm hoping it'll tide me over until my "new every two" comes up in March 2006. I bought this phone for its looks- cute, compact- but it disappointed me with its fragility. DO NOT BY THIS PHONE. If need be, contact me and I will talk out of it. And **** Samsung, I'm never buying one of their craptastic phones again.
