"Samsung is NOT customer oriented if there is a problem"
Pros: Good picture for 22 months....then died
Cons: Unit died after smoke smell came from it.
Summary: Puchased the tv and 22 months later picture tube was dead. Called Samsun and did everything they told me to do...including paying to have new tube put in. After two replaced picture tubes, tv still did not work. I then entered Samsung service from hell!! They want me to pay them 40% of what I paid for my tv originally for them to replace the still dead tv or settle for 60% off cash settlement of my orginal price for a tv that died at 22 months of age! Service reps contradict themselves and do not give full disclosure. Never call back as they state. This has been my worst experience dealing with a manufacturers problem. All I wanted was for my tv that I paid for and paid for repairs to work...and I would just like Samsung to take reponsibility of their product and employees. Sony or others is the way to go.
