"Reliable, general purpose notebook that does not get hot in your lap"
Pros: Much lower heat output than comparable models, can play movies without booting Windows, instantly shows up as external drive when connected to another computer, draws many compliments on its looks

"Hard to beat if you want an ultraportable"
Pros: Smallest, lightest notebook with a built-in optical drive. Can double as a DVD player or USB memory device without booting up. Great battery life for the size. Typically great looking Sharp LCD.
Cons: Performancs on a par with its size and miserly power requirements. Word Perfect 12 Office suite, included, is relatively useless for me.
