"I bought this 3.5 yrs ago and its still going strong! Read this if ur thinking about getting one!"
Pros: Best when i bought it the best for its price and sony quality.
Cons: 180 lbs. is a little on the too heavy side. No HDMI
Summary: Its true that now this wega's hd 1080i isn't the top resolution, and other functions are a little outdated. It doesn't have the HDMI input (I probably should've waited a year more to see how HD was really turning out). Its 176 lbs. makes it nearly impossible to move with just 1 person (my wife w/the constant need to rearrange hates this). Its even responsible for breaking my buddy's small toe (that was 1 of 2 drops). Despite it being dropped twice, moved three different times, collecting more dust on top of its CRT than is probably safe, and being 3.5 years old with probably 2.75 years of that being veiwing time, this thing still has an unbeatable picture and quality. Its sound is still remarkable, and thats after blaring the music channel on it quite a few times. To the reviewer who said that it was a lemon, he had to have bought one thats screen had been kicked in!!! Now don't get me wrong I wouldn't pay the price I did back then ($1200 at military BX), but if your thinkin of droppin $300-$400 on a used one, do it, it was NOT a buy I regretted. If its still intact, then the probability is that it belonged to an owner a little easier on it than I am, but mine is still showing pictures and blaring sounds like the day I bought it!!! The day it dies I'll get on here and tell you.
