"Beautiful design, ugly technology"
Pros: Looks stunning and has a great interface
Cons: Lacking in multimedia functions and high pitch noises
Summary: The Sony Vaio C series offers a lot in a relatively small package. It weighs a little heavy for a 13.3" laptop at 5.1 lbs but is still comfortable to carry even with the Sony carrying case which makes the total weight 6 lbs. The main complaint though with this laptop is a high pitch noise that emits from the motherboard when the computer is not charging. Once on battery power this high pitch noise begins and does not cease until it is once again plugged in. Unsure of the cause Sony states that it is in "acceptable paramaters" for the laptop. I believe Sony has kept its design team working hard but has failed to maintain the edge it once had with producing quality electronics.
