Description: The Toshiba Satellite M115-S1061 is a 5.3-pound, mainstream consumer notebook computer.Compared to other consumer level notebooks on the market, it is very inexpensive at around $540.Has Wi-Fi (wireless connectivity) built-in.Features ATI Radeon xpress 200M graphics with 64MB of video memory.
Pros: This notebook meets the EPEAT Silver level of environmental performance criteria including a minimum of 65% recycleable or reuseable materials.
Cons: Only has a Celeron M processor.Also, this notebook has only 512 MB RAM.This is not out of line with the product's price, but is less than the average notebook on the market today.
Suitability: A consumer level notebook, suited for general mobile computing.Enjoy movies while in transit with this computer's DVD player.You can compile wav CDs with this laptop?s CD writer.Includes office-grade word processing software -- fine for most serious business or academic document authors.With 64MB of dedicated video RAM, this machine will do a lot better than most other notebooks, when it comes to multimedia applications and games.If you have a wireless network at home, wirelessly browse the Web from any room in your house with this Wi-Fi enabled notebook.
Value: Given its very inexpensive price, this notebook has great features for the money.Generally, this economy-class model lacks sex appeal, but budget-minded consumers will like the low price.
