"Stopped working after 1 year"
Pros: Nice picture and clarity
Cons: Terrible Customer Service
Summary: The monitor was great, for the little while it worked. After one year of very little use, the monitor stopped working. The documentation that came with it said it had a 3-year warranty. So, I called up ViewSonic's customer service (after sitting on hold for over half-an-hour) to see what they could do for me. They told me that my particular model only had a 1-year warranty for reasons they couldn't explain. I even referred them to the page in the manual that stated the 3-year warranty and they just kept saying there was only a 1-year warranty. In the end they would not honor the 3-year warranty, even though they were the ones who printed it into the products manual. Anyone who cares about customer service and honoring warranties should not purchase a monitor from this company.
