"Works better than powered indoor antenna"
Pros: Great reception for it's small size
Cons: Need longer cable if you want to install it outdoor
Summary: I'm in Laguna Hills, about 40 to 50 miles from the towers in Los Angeles. I've used a powered indoor tv top antenna before buying this. Before I would get most channels but some would be weak or I'd had to readjust the antenna to get a weak signal but then lose another channel. Bought this Philips antenna and got all the channels no problem even with the antenna indoors lying flat on the shelf. Now just have to mount it outdoors somewhere but need a longer coax cable.
