"Poor reception in the lower channels."1.0 starson by RipV
Pros: The footprint is nice. It is a small, thin square. Very different from the old rabbit ears. The reception is also much better from the rabbit ears that I remember many years ago.
Cons: I live on a hill with a relatively unobstructed view to where the tv transmitters are some 20 miles away. The reception should be excellent but it is not. The digital picture keeps breaking up and I get the occasional "Weak Reception" message.
Summary: I am trying to move away from cable and bring our annual TV costs more in line with the little TV that we do watch. The only option is to move over to an antenna. I had read that using an indoor antenna is a crap shot-- the results of this test seem to prove the veracity of the statement. The design is nice, the installation is a snap, and the price is right. However, the results were inferior.
