This product is really a great product - so I'll start out with the two major issues I had.

1. A few of the screw holes had gotten paint in them from the manufacturers' painting process which required much effort to repeatedly screw the bolts in and out to remove the paint (and made we worried about getting screws stuck since it required a good amount of effort).

2. The ESSENTIAL bolts which mount the bracket that screws onto the back of my plasma to the universal mount attached to the main post - were NOT the correct bolts!!! Again - there was paint in the screw holes - which made me think that was the only problem. I ended up trying to screw the bolts in and out to remove the paint - and got one screw stuck and stripped it trying to get it out (I have never stripped an allen-hole bolt before!). At this point I was almost irate - and realized the paint wasn't the problem but in fact the bolts were not the correct size. I had to use a vice to remove the stripped, incorrect bolt(I had to go to home depot to do this because I didn't have one). I then found the correctly threaded bolts at Home Depot that DID fit the screw hole, worked the paint out with them and ended up successfully mounting the TV to the stand. This was, neeedless to say a pain in my butt - all the while gettting slack from my wife because she thought "I had broke this $400 stand and that it was MY FAULT that I couldn't put it together". Of course, once I came back from Home Depot with the CORRECT hardware and she saw that this wasn't the case - she was happy with the product (and me). Overall this was a headache that is unacceptable when you buy a $400 TV stand/mount.

Now that we have had it for a few weeks - the product looks great, is very functional (very adjustable viewing angles (side to side swivel and up and down swivel), including overall height adjustment of the top shelf and TV itself. The wiring organizing system in the back works pretty well too.
