Good, but a few points to remember
Pros: All-in-one solution; streamlines accouting process; internal audit features
Cons: Licensing cost; limitations on certain industries; still need professional knowledge
1) Have someone who knows computers and accounting to install the software. The accounting knowledge is critical because you must understand what QB is doing and why. Strongly suggest working with an accountant on this unless you already have accounting skills.
2) Does not work well with weighable bar codes...meaning that this is not an ideal set up for seafood and deli markets that want to use scales to print bar codes with weight and pricing information. Intuit reps will admit this and tell you that they are working on it, but no date as to when this will be resolved.
3) It would be nice to see the multi-pack licensing again. Intuit sells multi-packs for their QuickBooks financial but they will not for the POS.
4) Remember that when installing this system, you are changing your accounting system. So if you don't current use purchase orders then you will once you have this system. So plan on changing your routine. (This is not a bad thing though). Again, this is why you need an accountant.
