Pros nothing good to say about prepayment discounts
Cons process not thought out, insufficient instructions
Summary It seems logical to enter an early payment discount in the "set discount" screen from the "receive payments" screen.
This doesn't adjust the sales tax. At the same time, strange amounts show up in the "sales tax revenue quickzoom".
45 states have sales taxes, yet Intuit's most intuitive path to entering early payment discounts doesn't adjust the sales tax.
Pros Good Software Product
Cons Support, support policies and hidden costs are SHAMEFUL
Summary Encountered major data conversion problem with 2003Pro version. Intuit would only provide support based on a 12mth contract (approx.$450). Support advised us to upgrade to 2004. Now, support contract is up, they continued to debit our bank account. After we put a stop to that, they have remotely locked our Quickbooks and claim that the upgrade they offered was only for the duration of the support contract. There's alot more to this saga. Suffice to warn, be very, very weary if Intuit. Once you're in...you're at their mercy..and it's very unpleasant!
Pros The product would be okay if not for the hidden costs.
Cons Intuit is a dishonest and brutally greedy company. There are tons of hidden charges down the road. They install spyware. Avoid all contact with this company.
Pros They have added some nice reporting functionality
Cons Things don't work as stated and Intuit has gotten greedy and the customer service stinks. They have forced the upgrades in order to continue using the merchant account abilities and to be able to download the newest payroll tax tables. It did not matter t
Pros Powerful application with flexability to adapt to most business situations.
Cons May be intimidating to set up initially. Recommend professional assistance. Poor, very poor and very expensive support. Support is outside the country with language barrier issues.
