"My opinion about TurboTax Home & Business software"
Pros: May be quite useful for less complex tax returns
Cons: Errors, false alarms, forms missed to file, professional review not serious
Summary: TurboTax "Professional Review" is a joke. They don't even read your tax return well and send you a "professional" review for $50. Don't bother. Save your $50. Here's just one example (of many): I have never had INVESTMENTS, but here's what TurboTax "Professional Review" states: "You also had income from investments". I go to my TurboTax software under "Personal Income" and then click on "Investment Income". There's nothing. I did not even go there since I don't have any investments. So what I suspect that a TurboTax "professional" takes a more or less default text that applies to most people, edits it a bit and sends it to me. In my case he or she forgot the omit the investments statement that was used for someone else. There went my $50... To get more attention to my Tax Return TurboTax asks extra $65. Plus, there were false alarms (errors) that prevented me from filing my return last year and this year there are false errors again.
