I had to give a bottom, abysmal rating due to an uncalled for invasion by Microsoft. You start with a required MS.net signon. Then MS adds a "trusted site" to Internet Explorer. Then MS looks for your bank.
Every time you start the program, you must login to MS.net. I do not appreciate being connected to Microsoft every time I write a check or download transactions from my bank. What comes next? MS will automatically update to the next version and debit your bank account?
It might be a good program, but it is not worth the risk. This may sound like paranoia, and maybe it is. I do many transactions online. I just don't see the need for Microsoft to know each time I start up the program. How many times has Microsoft been hacked in the last couple years? I will shortly take advantage of the 30-day refund offer--the best feature of this program--and go back to my old Quicken 2001.
