It doesn't do anything worthwhile
Pros: None that I can find
Cons: It really doesn't do anything. There's no way of importing financial fields into templates. I cannot figure out why Intuit created this!

Spray yourself with OFF! for Customer Manager
Pros: Integrates with QuickBooks, keeps good history
Cons: Totally proprietary and locked down. When it works, there is no exportability or ability to use data outside of Customer Manager. Received frequent errors due to outdated database and ONE-WAY syncing system.
It seems Intuit may be dropping this product - if they do hang on to it, they need to look at a basic rebuild. Get rid of database structure, get rid of manual one-way sync, add exportability to standard formats (CSV, Excel, other major packages, etc.).

This product made me cry several times, honestly...
Pros: Absolutely Nothing.
Cons: Absolutely Everything.
I ran 10000 addresses on QuickBooks Customer Manager, purchased Version 1, 2 and 2.5 and with every update it got worse. I even was a Beta Tester for this program and let me tell you this piece of trash made me kick my computer the first time in my life. Outlook Sync Errors every second time, slow like a snail, for some searches it took me 2 to 3 minutes just to look for a customer (with a decent computer, enough RAM). At the end it even mixed up customer names and their addresses. The new version shows me the content in strange compressed windows. Customer Service Forget About It. The only task they tell you to do, is to reset and reimport your full data set.
YOU WILL LOOSE HOURES AND DAYS WITH THIS SOFTWARE.
There is no worse software than this one.
Please for your own peace of mind and health STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY THIS.
Outlook Contact Manager will do a better job for you.
P.S. I also decided to drop Quick Books Pro and use MS Accountant instead.

Good function for single user, terrible for multi users.
Pros: One person simple functions, it's OK.
Cons: Do not chose if there will be more than one user.

Steer Clear of Customer Manager
Pros: Integrates with Quickbooks
Cons: No export of notes and history
Thanks to Customer Manager's propreiatry (and obselete) Sybase database and complete lack of export facilities - we're re entering 2 years of customer data manually!
This product is so bad, we're looking for ways of ditching Quickbooks too.
Intuit - do the right thing for your customers. Make their data transportable and they *may* reward you with product loyalty. Lock them in and they'll have no choice but to leave (and never do business with you again).

Ver 1 Sucks
Pros: Nice idea.
Cons: Dont waste your time nor money until they fix the sync problems--the WHOLE point for buying and using the program (i.e., syncing with Outlook and Quickbooks)! Support is nonexistent. I am very disappointed in Intuit right now.

I agree - needs work!
Pros: I love the idea...
Cons: You would think that buying Intuit's product would make for ease of synchronization with QuickBooks. Sadly, this is not the case. I spent many hours weeding through my initial import of data from both QuickBooks and Outlook. When I finally finished and

Wait 'till they fix the bugs
Pros: It's a great idea, I only wish it could actually perform.
Cons: Fails to synchronize, lots of fatal error messages -- I should have know better than to buy Version 1.0 of any product.
